Joaquin Sarmiento Barbieri

Intro

My name is Joaquín and I work as a professor and researcher on the intersection between social sciences, computational sciences and statistics.

I firmly believe that enhancing the quality of the social sciences requires a concerted effort to bolster statistical literacy and harness the full potential of computational systems.

Naturally, this pursuit should not undermine the importance of qualitative methodologies, which should remain equally rigorous in their approach.

I'm a big fan of French literature, Italian microhistory, and New Zealand culture.
